THEATRE DESIGN
My career in the Theatre started in high school. Though not very original, it is where I can say I started getting into the living/performing arts.
It all started when one of my student mentors gave me a role in her one act play, and then being a part of drama had its grip on me. Of course acting isn’t what stuck, but remaining part of the experience is what I was after.
My love for theatre grew more and more overtime, and that wasn’t even before I got to actually work on any productions yet. It wasn’t until my sophomore year that I got my first assignment to a show, and sadly that was the year of COVID. But this only cemented my love for theatre as an artform that will not die. We started out with planning on working on She Kills Monsters written by Qui Nguyen, and after some time being left debating what will happen we then found out about She Kills Monsters Digital Realms. And to top it off our department decided to also work with the video communications department and transformed it into a novel version of this play that I feel like would have never come to be had this not been such a fluid, shifting living art form.
My experience mostly lies in sound and costume design. As such I gave them both their own dedicated pages. I also have my theatrical resume available for download.
